No leave of absence is granted except on previous written application from parents or guardians and then only for serious reasons.
In case of absence without granted leave the student must have the reason of absence entered and signed by the parent or guardian on the non-attendence and leave record in the diary without which the students will not be admitted to the class.
A student remaining absent due to sickness should produce doctor’s certificate permitting the student to resume class.
All students are expected to attend school on the re-opening day after each of the vacations. Absence for more than a week renders the pupil being struck off the rolls. Similarly no one is allowed to leave for vaction earlier than the closing day.
Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than 7 consecutive day renders the liable to be struck off the rolls.
