NALANDA ENGLISH SCHOOL was founded in the year 1970 considering the demand for quality scholastic career for the benefit of the children in the neighborhood . This institution basically has the aim to mould the children, imparting the fundamentals required in every aspects of life so they blossom into good citizens as they grow and will have confidence to shoulder and discharge responsibilities in individual capacities. With the tremendous confidence and the appreciation that the institution has won, today it has turned out to be one of the leading educational institutions in the area. The growth from a tiny place to a gigantic size to accommodate 1200 students with other paraphernalia speaks volumes of the healthy growth of the institution. To boost the morale and to see that the students career is uninterrupted till the turning point, the institution has started high school in the year 1990 and started junior college in the year 2019, so that the students basic career is under one umbrella. The institution has already the privilege of having prepared several batches for S.S.L.C. examination and is proud to declare a success rate of 100%.
To start with, the classes were conducted in a very small house. Now year after year as the strength of the school increased the management decided to shift the activities to the present location which can accommodate more than 1500 students covering classes from Pre-nursery to XII std. After moving to the new premises the school has further invested and provided additional facilities like play equipments for the tiny tots, library and laboratory for higher classes. The school is encouraging the students to compete in crafts and inter-school painting competitions, debate and other cultural activities.
Today it has proved to declare its Golden Jubilee having a strength of 1200 students to communicate the multifold growth and commitment imbibing quality education in all spheres.
